Summer Retreat "Permission To Play" Workshop

As part of our Summer Retreat we are delighted to bee offering Workshops.

Join Rox on Wednesday the 29th of June for a fun packed "Permission to PLay" workshop

Have you bought Inktense pencils and left them in a drawer without ever using them? Or perhaps you have always wondered how to turn a treasured image into an art quilt? Or maybe you would like to learn about perspectives and tackle a landscape design? Well Rox will walk you through all things creative on this day long workshop. 

What Will You Need:

Threads in a variety of colours suited to landscapes 

(blues, greens, white, browns and greys) 

Wadding, preferably 100 % cotton wadding approx A3 in size

Backing fabric A3 in size

Binding strips (I normally work with 2.5inch strips)

Inktense pencils if you have them (please do not rush out and buy some just for this workshop as I will have plenty to go around)

I will have a large scrap basket available to raid but if you have a particular image or fabric you wish to use please bring it along

Appliqué  foot and Free Motion Foot

Paper for drawing out your design, don't worry I an help with this

If there is an image you want to work from please ensure you bring 3 printed copy of the image
