Procraftinating

Procraftinating

Good Morning All,

Well it is a beautiful early Autumn morning here. The sun is shining and my brain is buzzing with ideas...…. So why is it that I am not getting on with any of them?

I am always wishing for more time to make and more time to sew, yet I find that when I have that time I procraftinate. Yes this isn't actually a word, at least I don't think it is. But it most definitely sums up my creativity sometimes.

I think sometimes I have so many ideas that I don't know which one to start first. Sometimes I start a project and then hit a stumbling block, perhaps my points don't meet or its not quite how I imagined it to look, then my lovely little butterfly brain switches off and moves on to happier projects not yet begun. Whilst this can be amusing it can also be frustrating. I am sure I am not the only person to have this issue right?? Feel free to email in and confirm that I am not a total fruit loop lol

Anyway on the plus side I AM GOING TO FINISH A PROJECT TODAY! You guys are my witnesses to this testament and it is written for all to see. So today's challenge is to create my Botanical Journal Quilt Sample for the upcoming club. I have lots of rich beautiful batiks in front of me and my machine is ready to go. This also means that I have to photograph every stage of the process and write up the instructions too. I have totally got this!

I have been asked several times to write a blog as you may have noticed from my 'to blog or not to blog' post. I am pretty useless at the old social media thingy so I will attempt to keep this as a diary type exercise. Hopefully it will keep me on track and provide some entertainment for you at the same time.

I would love to know if you guys are reading this as it does always feel a little self indulgent hence the reason why I have been avoiding it. Let me know your thoughts by email info@hannahsroomonline.co.uk or WhatsApp 07891 056908, or through Facebook :-)

Happy Stitching

Rox xx
