Returns Policy
At Hannah’s Room, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our returns policy carefully before placing your order.
Change of Mind Returns
For most online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. This reflects the standard UK distance selling rules for online purchases.

Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and in any original packaging where applicable.
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of return postage.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Some items are excluded from change-of-mind returns because they are made, cut, or supplied specifically for the customer.
We are unable to accept returns on:
- Fabric cut to order
- Fabric panels or lengths cut specifically from the bolt for your order
- Personalised or custom-made items
- Patterns
- Downloadable or digital products
- Used, opened, damaged, or incomplete kits
- Items that are no longer in saleable condition
Cut Fabric Returns
Fabric that has been cut specifically for your order is treated as a bespoke/custom item and cannot be returned unless it is faulty or we have sent the wrong item.
This includes fabric cut from the bolt, even where the fabric was ordered as a standard quantity, because once cut it cannot be returned to us as a continuous saleable length.
Please check your requirements carefully before ordering cut fabric. If you are unsure whether a fabric colour will match your project, or whether the fabric is suitable, you are welcome to order a fabric swatch before purchasing. Fabric swatches are available free of charge.
Sewing Kits and Craft Kits
Kits may be returned under our standard returns policy provided they are unused, unopened, complete, and in their original condition.
We cannot accept returns of kits where the contents have been opened, used, damaged, or are incomplete, unless the kit is faulty.
Patterns
Printed patterns are non-returnable unless faulty or supplied incorrectly.
This is because patterns can easily be copied once received.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the issue.
Where an item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrectly supplied, we will offer a replacement, repair, refund, or other appropriate solution.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to your original payment method.
Refunds are usually processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving proof that the goods have been returned.
Original standard delivery costs will be refunded where required by law. Any upgraded postage options chosen by the customer may not be refundable beyond the standard delivery cost.
Return Postage
Please obtain proof of postage when returning items, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in the post.
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
