Cottage in the Hills is a beautiful slow stitch project featuring a little white cottage nestled amongst rolling hills, surrounded by layers of colour, texture and hand-stitched detail.

Designed by Roxana at Hannah’s Room, this downloadable pattern guides you through creating the 6 × 8 inch textile artwork using layered fabrics and simple hand embroidery.

Follow the original design or make it your own. Slow stitching is all about taking your time, enjoying the process and allowing your creativity to lead the way.

The pattern gives you the guidance you need to recreate Cottage in the Hills, while leaving plenty of room for your own interpretation.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Cottage in the Hills is suitable for those newer to slow stitching as well as more experienced stitchers looking for a relaxing project.

The instructions take you through the construction step by step, and if you need a little extra help along the way, WhatsApp support from Hannah’s Room is available.

Once complete, the approximately 6 × 8 inch artwork can be displayed in an 8 × 10 inch frame with a 6 × 8 inch mount. We love displaying textile pieces without glass so all those lovely layers and stitches can be enjoyed.
