Featuring a pair of characterful puffins perched amongst a rugged coastal landscape, this design combines layered batik fabrics with simple hand stitching to create plenty of texture and detail. From the deep blue sea and rocky shoreline to the tiny wildflowers and, of course, those wonderful puffins, there are lots of little areas to enjoy stitching and making your own.

The kit is designed for slow stitching by hand, making it a lovely relaxing project to work on at your own pace. The pattern guides you through creating the design, while still leaving plenty of opportunity to add your own individual touches with your stitching.

Your kit includes:

- A selection of fabrics to create the complete design

- Calico foundation fabric

- Embroidery threads in coordinating colours

- Full-size pattern and templates

- Step-by-step instructions

Please note: Fabrics are supplied as pieces for you to cut yourself – they are not pre-cut shapes. A needle and frame are not included.

The finished piece looks beautiful displayed in a frame, but could also be incorporated into another textile project if you prefer.
